If you are currently enrolled at another institution, would like to enroll in summer courses only at Illinois State, and do not plan to seek an Illinois State degree, you should apply for admission as a visiting student.

The visiting student application can take up to a week to receive a decision. While college transcripts are not required to determine admission, the department may require them prior to issuing permission/override for your intended class.

Some classes at Illinois State are only available to students in that major, so we cannot guarantee you will be able to take any course you wish. You can search class offerings prior to admission at Course Finder and then, once you have been admitted, by logging into My.IllinoisState.edu
Before you register you will need to login to the student portal and sign the Financial Responsibility agreement.
