Even if you are currently living off-campus or will be next year, living on-campus for a few weeks during the summer may be your best option. Summer housing offers an intimate experience where you can become life-long friends with everyone in your residence hall, not just the people on your floor. Summer housing also provides weekly housing contracts, no cooking, and less space to clean!
University Housing Services offers a limited number of spaces on a “first-come, first-served” basis in designated residence halls during summer session. Most rooms are double occupancy. The availability of single rooms is dependent on space demands. A mandatory meal plan is included in the housing contract. Housing application-contracts are mailed in early April upon request. Contact University Housing Services to request a Summer Housing Application-Contract.
Off-Campus Student Services, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, provides Illinois State students with support and services to help enhance their off-campus living experience. Check-list for moving off-campus
