Illinois State University will pilot a winter session over the 2018-2019 semester break. This session will be considered a part of the spring 2019 semester, and has separate registration/withdrawal deadlines and requirements from the regular spring semester.
Only continuing ISU students will be eligible to register for Winter Session classes. Students will only be allowed to enroll in ONE Winter Session class, and their enrolled credit hours will be counted in their spring 2019 semester academic load. Students on academic probation during the fall 2018 semester will not be allowed to enroll in Winter Session.
Saturday, December 15, 2018 - Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Winter Session is still in a pilot program phase and therefore courses are limited. Visit Course Finder for Winter Session course information (Winter Session classes are considered part of the spring semester).
Winter Session advanced registration will begin October 15th, 2018 and continue through Friday, November 9th.
Last day to register for a Winter Session course is Friday, December 14th, 2018.
Last day to withdraw from a Winter Session course with a full tuition adjustment is Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Last day to withdraw from a Winter Session course with a WX grade and NO tuition adjustment is January 3, 2019.
